MANUFACTURING & MACHINING
Unlike some companies in our industry, IDC manufactures the products that we sell. We have our own 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.
REFURBISHMENT & REPLACEMENT
Refurbishment services can range from relatively minor hardware replacement to a complete overhaul where only the basic door structure is reused.
HISTORICAL PRESERVATION & RENOVATION
IDC has been entrusted to provide repair components or complete door systems that were used to preserve historically significant hangars for the United States Department of Defense.
SHIPPING & INSTALLATION
The effort expended to manufacture a high quality product can be quickly undone with haphazard packaging and shipping procedures. We take great care in the shipping and installation of our products.
CONSULTING
IDC offers a comprehensive door evaluation service. Our experienced field technicians will perform an onsite door inspection and generate a report of the findings, along with recommendation for repairs and upgrades.

How do you know what type of hangar door is necessary for my project?Typically it is the complexity of the door system and how quickly it needs to be opened or closed is dependent upon the use of the hangar. For example, corporate or commercial use of an aircraft may require the doors (or only part of the doors) to be opened and closed many times during the day, and in a timely manner. But, in the case of an individual owner, the door may only open once or twice a month, so the speed of the door and access to the aircraft is not always time sensitive. More involved hangar door systems may have more motor operators and faster open/close speeds.
